Hidari and Migi

We thought having a pair of socks with a fixed left or right side would make the socks more approachable and more fun to wear. We also love pixel fonts. So for the first design, we drew the pixel Japanese Hiragana “みぎ” (means “right” in Japanese) and “ひだり” (means “left” in Japanese).
